SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Amber Alerts; secondary school students. Amends the definition of an abducted child for purposes of the Amber Alert program to include a person enrolled in a secondary school in the Commonwealth, regardless of age. Current law applies only to children 17 years of age or younger. The amendment would allow an Amber Alert to be issued in the case of a missing high school student who is over the age of 17.
