SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Improper driving charged by law-enforcement officer. Provides that a person may be charged with improper driving who has engaged in reckless driving where the degree of culpability is slight. Improper driving is punishable as a traffic infraction punishable by a fine of not more than $500. Currently, only a charge of reckless driving may be reduced to improper driving by the court or the attorney for the Commonwealth.
