SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Onsite Sewage Indemnification Fund; increased indemnification claim time.  Requires that the Commissioner shall, at the end of each fiscal year, certify that no expenses were paid from the Fund to support the program for training and recognition of authorized onsite soil evaluators in lieu of payment to any owner or owners qualified to receive payment from the Fund.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Onsite Sewage Indemnification Fund; increased indemnification claim time.  Increases the period in which claims for indemnification from the Fund can be brought from three to eight years after construction of the onsite sewage system. Eliminates the provision that dollars from the Fund may be used to support a program for the training and recognition of authorized onsite soil evaluators.
