SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Extortion by withholding immigration document. Provides that any person who confiscates, withholds or threatens to withhold any actual or purported passport, immigration document or other government identification document and thereby extorts money, property, or pecuniary benefit is guilty of a Class 5 felony. This bill is similar to SB 815.
