SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Required vaccinations; adds human papillomavirus vaccine.  Requires females to receive three doses of properly spaced human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. The first dose shall be administered on or after the child's eleventh birthday. After having reviewed materials describing the link between the human papillomavirus and cervical cancer approved for such use by the Board of Health, a parent or guardian may elect for his daughter not to receive this vaccine. This bill contains a delayed effective date of September 1, 2008. This bill has been incorporated into HB 2035.
