Water quality monitors. Establishes as a goal of the Department of Environmental Quality having citizen volunteers monitor 3,000 stream miles by 2010.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Water quality monitors. Requires that at least 10% of Virginia's river and stream miles being monitored for water quality by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) be monitored by volunteers who are members of a DEQ-certified citizen monitoring program.
