SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Home Energy Assistance Program.  Reduces the frequency of the reports required from the Department of Social Services regarding the effectiveness of low-income energy assistance programs in the Commonwealth. Currently, reports are due by October 1 of each year until October 1, 2007, on which date the reporting requirement is scheduled to cease. The measure provides that after October 1, 2007, reports will be due biennially.
