VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 18.2-340.30:1, relating to the Department of Charitable Gaming; gross receipts; "winner-take-all" games. [S 842] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 18.2-340.30:1 as follows:

§ 18.2-340.30:1. "Winner-take-all" games; proceeds not counted as gross receipts.

The proceeds from any bingo game commonly referred to as "winner-take-all" games shall not be included in determining the gross receipts for a qualified organization provided that such games are conducted as provided in subdivision 10 of § 18.2-340.33.
