Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 15.2-4510 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 15.2-4510. Compensation and expenses of members.

The commission members shall receive no salary but shall be entitled to reimbursement of all reasonable and necessary expenses and compensation allowed members of the Commonwealth Transportation Board for the performance of their official duties as provided in §§ 2.2-2813 and 2.2-2825 and, in addition, shall be paid the same per diem compensation established for members of the General Assembly by § 30-19.12.
