SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Transportation revenue bonds.  Authorizes the Commonwealth Transportation Board to issue revenue bonds in the principal aggregate amount of $2 billion with the proceeds to be allocated as follows:  60% to be distributed to fund transportation projects in the Northern Virginia Highway Construction District and the Hampton Roads Highway Construction District, and 40% to be distributed to fund transportation projects in the remaining highway construction districts. The particular transportation projects shall be determined by the Commonwealth Transportation Board.
