SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Senate Rules changes. Sets forth provisions relating to change in political party membership; allows for additional committee staff to be appointed, assigned, and removed by the Clerk of the Senate, with the approval of the Committee on Rules; and provides for two Senators to serve as chief patrons of any bill or resolution introduced in the Senate.
