SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Alcohol beverage control; home exemption. Requires a guest to be 21 years of age or older or to be accompanied by his parent, guardian, or spouse in order to be served alcohol in the home of another. This bill is identical to HB 1208.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Alcoholic beverage control; exemption from licensure; service to guests in private residences. Provides that alcoholic beverages may be served or given to guests without a license by any person who keeps and possesses lawfully acquired alcoholic beverages in his residence, his family or servants, provided such guests are 21 years of age or older or are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or spouse who is 21 years of age or older.
