SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Child day program exemption from licensure. Allows an exemption from licensure for programs of recreational activities offered by local governments, staffed by local government employees, and attended by school-age children. The programs shall be subject to safety and supervisory standards established by the local governments.

Child day program exemption from licensure. Allows an exemption from licensure for programs of recreational activities offered by local governments, staffed by local government employees, and attended by children ages six through 12 and where currently a child may only be released from the premises to his parent, guardian, or the parent's designee.
