SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; Secretary of the Commonwealth; notaries; report. Requests the Secretary of the Commonwealth to study Virginia's notary statutes to determine whether amendments are appropriate to facilitate notarization of electronic documents and to report to the Governor and the General Assembly no later than the first day of the 2007 Regular Session.
