SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Health care data reporting; safety and quality of care. Requires the Commissioner of Health to determine, along with the Board of Medicine, any data concerning safety and quality health care services rendered by physicians to Medicaid recipients that should be identified, collected, and disseminated. Also requires sufficient funding to be identified to cover the costs to physicians of this additional reporting requirement.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Health care data reporting; safety and quality of care. Requires nonprofits under agreements with the Commissioner of Health under this chapter to determine, along with the Board of Medicine, any data concerning safety and quality health care services rendered by physicians that should be identified, collected, and disseminated. Also requires sufficient funding to be identified to cover the costs to physicians of this additional reporting requirement.
