SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Local vehicle license fees, etc. Requires the DMV Commissioner to develop and implement standardized procedures and fees whereby the Commissioner, when so requested in writing by the treasurer or director of finance of any county, city, or town, will refuse to issue or renew any vehicle registration of persons who owe the locality any local vehicle license fees or delinquent tangible personal property tax or parking fines. This bill becomes effective January 1, 2007.
