SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Income tax; energy efficiency tax credit. Grants an income tax deduction for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2006, to individuals who purchase energy efficient equipment for their homes. The amount of the deduction equals 50% of such equipment expenditures, but not more than $5,000 total.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
