SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Emergency medical services; oxygen training.  Directs the State Board of Health to prescribe regulations authorizing emergency medical services personnel to possess and administer oxygen with the authority of the local medical director and a licensed emergency medical services agency.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Emergency medical services; oxygen training.  Allows certain personal vehicles of emergency medical services workers to be classified as emergency medical services vehicles, in order to allow them to carry oxygen. Training on the safe handling and transportation of oxygen tanks shall be a requirement for such classification.
