SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia College Savings Plan; deferment for military service. Provides that, notwithstanding any prepaid tuition contract or savings trust agreement to the contrary, if a qualified beneficiary serves in the military following graduation from high school, the period of time specified in such contract or trust agreement for unclaimed moneys to be reported to the State Treasurer shall be tolled for the amount of time such qualified beneficiary was called to active duty in the armed forces of the United States.
