RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following interim appointments of certain agency heads and personnel made by Governor Mark R. Warner:

AGENCY HEADS

Peter Blake, 1111 East Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, Secretary of Education, appointed July 17, 2005, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor, beginning July 25, 2005, to succeed Belle Wheelan.

Vincent M. Burgess, 900 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, Acting Commissioner of the Department of Veterans Services, appointed October 12, 2005, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor, beginning October 17, 2005, to succeed Jon Mangis.
