065772510WHEREAS, Beverly A. Wetherbie of Alexandria, Virginia, was named Ms. Virginia Senior America 2005; and
WHEREAS, Beverly A. Wetherbie actively volunteers and is the organizer of The Crystal Dancers, a team of dancers that has presented over 70 performances in her community; and
WHEREAS, active in the Senior Virginia Cameo Club, serving as treasurer and public relations cochair, Beverly A. Wetherbie is also a member of the Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association, Red Hat Society, and the Winnebago Travelers; and
WHEREAS, Beverly A. Wetherbie hopes to instill her philosophy and life statement, a message of hope and self-actualization, in others; and
WHEREAS, Beverly A. Wetherbie embodies the image of Ms. Senior America, including the reaffirmation of life and self-worth, as well as inner beauty and outward charm; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Beverly A. Wetherbie, Ms. Virginia Senior America 2005; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Beverly A. Wetherbie as an expression of the General Assembly's congratulations and best wishes.
