Celebrating the life of Glenn Richard Goetsch.

WHEREAS, Glenn Richard Goetsch of Virginia Beach, a dedicated community supporter and avid outdoorsman, died on November 1, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Goetsch was the vice president of Single Family Housing for Community Partners Corporation; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Goetsch enjoyed his work and was diligent in helping first-time homebuyers realize their dream of home ownership; and

WHEREAS, a passionate gardener, one of Glenn Goetsch's favorite pastimes was beautifying his yard with plants and flowers; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Goetsch loved the outdoors, especially the mountains, and recently traveled to Wyoming to participate in a Sierra Club hiking trip; and

WHEREAS, Glenn Goetsch will be fondly remembered as a deeply spiritual and compassionate man and will be missed by his family, his many friends and admirers, and the numerous individuals and families he helped in the community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly mourn the passing of a fine Virginian, Glenn Richard Goetsch; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Glenn Richard Goetsch as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for his memory.
