Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Uniform Statewide Building Code (§ 36-97 et seq.), no building permit shall be required to erect a tent intended to serve as a temporary structure for a period of three days or less.
