CHAPTER 910 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 2.2-302.1, relating to duties of Virginia Liaison Office; support for enactment of health insurance efforts. [S 487] Approved April 19, 2006

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-302.1 as follows:

§ 2.2-302.1.  Support for enactment of pooled purchasing of health insurance efforts.

It is the public policy of the Commonwealth to support federal efforts to encourage pooling of health insurance by small businesses, provided any such health insurance plans remain subject to state law.
