CHAPTER 832 An Act to amend and reenact § 15.2-2317 of the Code of Virginia, relating to impact fees. [H 141] Approved April 19, 2006

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 15.2-2317 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 15.2-2317. Applicability of article.

This article shall apply to (i) any county having a population of 500,000 or more as determined by the most recent U.S. Census, (ii) any county or city adjacent thereto, (iii) any city contiguous to such adjacent county or city, (iv) any town within such county or an adjacent county, and (v) any county having a population between 58,000 and 62,000 as determined by the 1990 U.S. Census, (vi) Fauquier County, (vii) Spotsylvania County and (viii) Frederick County.

The provisions of this article shall expire on July 1, 2003, if, prior to that date, no applicable locality has assessed and imposed impact fees as provided in § 15.2-2319.
