Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act; authorities' power to acquire property and grant security interests. Authorizes authorities formed under the Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act to grant security interests in any personal property or any interest, right or estate held by the authority.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act; authorities' power to acquire property and grant security interests. Stipulates that authorities formed under the Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act are authorized to acquire any real or personal property, including any interest therein that constitutes all or part of any stormwater control, water, or waste system. The bill also authorizes authorities to grant security interests in any personal property or any interest, right or estate held by the authority.
