SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Family councils in nursing homes. Clarifies the right of any nursing home resident, member of a resident's family, or resident's legal representative to establish a family council whereby a resident's family members and friends may confer in private without facility staff present. Further, a nursing home facility must provide meeting space at reasonable times and locations within the facility.
