SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Alcoholic beverage control; applications for licenses; criminal history checks. Provides that the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board may waive, for good cause shown, the requirement for a criminal history records search and completed personal data form for officers, directors, nonmanaging members, or limited partners of any applicant corporation, limited liability company, or limited partnership.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Alcoholic beverage control; applications for licenses; criminal history checks. Provides that the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board shall not require a criminal history records search or completed personal data form for officers and directors of publicly traded corporations as part of the license application process. The bill also allows the Board to waive, for good cause shown, the requirement for a criminal history records search and completed personal data form for officers, directors, nonmanaging members, or limited partners of any applicant corporation, limited liability company, or limited partnership.
