SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Resolution; waiver from federal No Child Left Behind Act. Requests the Board of Education to seek a waiver from compliance with those provisions of the federal No Child Left Behind Act that are duplicative of Virginia's pre-existing educational accountability system or lacking in cost effectiveness, and that already comply with the spirit and intent of the federal act.
