Workers' compensation; coverage for first responders during state of emergency. Provides that injuries to first responders incurred while traveling from home or another location outside a work location to that work location are deemed to be within the scope of employment for purposes of the Workers' Compensation Act, if a state of emergency is in effect.

Workers' compensation; enhanced coverage for first responders during state of emergency. Enhances workers' compensation coverage for first responders operating during a state of emergency, including providing that an injury incurred while traveling from home or another location outside a work location to that work location is deemed to be within the scope of employment, eliminating the seven-day waiting period, and permitting the injured employee to select his own physician.
