SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Coordinating administration of workforce training resources. Transfers responsibility for administering the workforce training programs under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act from the Virginia Employment Commission to the Department of Business Assistance, which is renamed the Department of Business Assistance and Workforce Services. The local program delivery structure remains intact while planning, funding, and reporting activities will be coordinated at the state level.
