SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Speedy trial deadline extended. Provides that the time limitation for a speedy trial is tolled (i) during the period of a natural disaster, civil disorder, strike, or act of God requiring that the courthouse be closed or (ii) for good cause shown why trial should not go forward as scheduled.
