SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Noise standards; shooting ranges. Provides that no locality shall submit a sport shooting range to noise control standards more stringent than those in effect at the time an application was submitted for construction or operation of the range. The existing law refers to the time of construction, not the time of application.

Noise standards; shooting ranges. Provides that no locality shall submit a sport shooting range or prohibit or disapprove construction and operation of a sport shooting range if the sound produced from the range meets certain specified criteria.
