SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Civil immunity; school employees or volunteers reporting alleged acts of bullying or crimes.  Immunizes school employees or volunteers from civil liability for the prompt good faith reporting to the appropriate school official, in compliance with specified procedures, of any alleged acts of bullying or any crimes.

SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Civil immunity; school employees or volunteers reporting alleged acts of bullying or crimes.  Immunizes school employees or volunteers from civil liability for reporting alleged acts of bullying or crimes against others, if the report is made in good faith promptly to the appropriate school official in compliance with specified procedures.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Education; immunity for persons reporting incidents of bullying, intimidation, and harassment.  Establishes immunity from civil damages for any school employee, student, or school volunteer who reports incidents of bullying, intimidation, and harassment.
