Introduced by: Allen L. Louderback | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Mopeds. Provides that mopeds will be considered motorcycles when operated on any highway. The bill also prohibits operation of mopeds by persons whose driver's licenses have been suspended or revoked, but does not change the status of mopeds within the context of Chapter 19.2 of Title 46.2 (Motorcycle Dealers) or Chapter 17.3 of Title 59.1 (the Motor Vehicle Warranty Enforcement Act), and does not impinge upon the ability of the Commonwealth Transportation Board to ban mopeds from controlled-access highways.
