SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Veterans; hiring preference. Requires the state in its employment selection practices to give additional consideration to veterans who have a service-connected disability rating fixed by the United States Veterans Administration. The bill also requires local governing bodies to give a preference to veterans in their employment policies and practices.
