SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Issuance of documents by Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV); proof of U.S. citizenship. Provides a list of specific evidence that may be used to prove U.S. citizenship in applying for DMV-issued documents. The bill also grants the DMV Commissioner the discretion to issue driver's licenses, following a hearing, to persons who cannot prove U.S. citizenship.
