CHAPTER 540 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 55-186.3, relating to unrecorded escheat grants. [H 2120] Approved March 22, 2005

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 55-186.3 as follows:

§ 55-186.3. Unrecorded escheat grants; original lost or destroyed; certified copy of grant.

The clerk shall accept for recordation a copy of the grant from the Commonwealth that is certified as a true copy by the Librarian of Virginia under § 55-186.2.
