THIS REPORT WAS REJECTED BY THE HOUSE AND AGREED TO BY THE SENATE
We, the conferees, appointed by the respective bodies to consider and report upon the disagreeing vote on House Bill No. 1770, report as follows:
A. We recommend that the Senate Amendments be rejected.
B. We recommend that the engrossed bill be amended as follows to resolve the matters under disagreement.

approved by the Board of Education for use in the public schools

a nationally normed standardized achievement test that has been approved by the Superintendent of Public Instruction

The Department of Education shall maintain a list of achievement tests, evaluations, and assessments that satisfy the requirements of clauses (i) and (ii) of this subsection.
