SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Nonconforming advertising signs. Provides that maintenance of and repairs to nonconforming signs will be governed by Chapter 7 (Outdoor Advertising) of Title 33.1 (Highways) and regulations promulgated by the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner.
SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Nonconforming signs. Provides that, except for signs located in localities that had in effect on January 1, 2004, a valuation or alternative valuation method, maintenance of and repairs to nonconforming signs shall be governed by Chapter 7 (Outdoor Advertising in Sight of Public Highways) of Title 33.1 (Highways) and regulations promulgated by the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner.
