SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Killing a fetus. Provides that any person who maliciously, willfully, deliberately, and unlawfully kills the fetus of another is guilty of a felony punishable by five to 40 years in prison and that if the act is done with premeditation it is punishable as a Class 2 felony. This bill is identical to HB 1.
SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Killing a fetus. Provides that any person who maliciously, willfully, deliberately, and unlawfully kills the fetus of another is guilty of a Class 2 felony (20 years to life).
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Killing an unborn child. Provides that any person who maliciously, willfully, deliberately, unlawfully and with premeditation kills the fetus of another is guilty of a Class 2 felony (20 years to life).
