SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Public Procurement Act; cooperative procurement. Authorizes state and local entities to enter into a cooperative procurement agreement to purchase from any contract of the United States General Services Administration (GSA) or the contract of any other federal agency. Regarding such contracts, the bill specifically authorizes (i) state entities, with the approval of the Director of the Division Purchases and Supply, to purchase goods and nonprofessional services other than telecommunications and information technology, (ii) state entities, with the approval of the Chief Information Officer, to purchase telecommunications and information technology goods, and (iii) localities to purchase goods and nonprofessional services. This bill is identical to HB 749.
