SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)

Eminent domain. Requires that property be put to the public use for which it was condemned within 10 years and that if it is not, it will be offered for sale to the person who owned it at the time of condemnation before being publicly auctioned. There are exceptions for property acquired by the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner and for situations where the failure to put the property to public use is for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the condemnor.
