SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Comprehensive roadside management program. Requires the Virginia Department of Transportation to promulgate regulations for a comprehensive roadside management program that includes opportunities for participation by individuals, communities, and local governments.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Highway landscaping. Requires the VDOT Commissioner to accept offers of donations of landscaping materials, landscaping services, and funds to carry out landscaping on highways under VDOT control, subject to such limitations as the Commissioner deems prudent or necessary.
