SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Pledge of Allegiance. Encourages the United States Supreme Court to uphold in Elk Grove Unified School District v. Newdow a public school district policy that requires teachers to allow willing students to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The Supreme Court agreed to hear this case on October 14, 2003. This resolution is identical to HR 14.
