Local consumer utility tax; exemption for churches. Broadens the permissive exemption from the consumer utility tax that localities may provide to certain churches or religious bodies.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Local consumer utility tax; exemption for churches. Allows any county, city or town to exempt from the consumer utility tax certain churches or religious bodies that are exempt from the local property tax.
