SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Persons authorized to take blood samples. Provides that registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and phlebotomists are authorized to take blood samples in DUI cases and for DNA samples.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Crimes; qualifications of persons authorized to take blood samples. Eliminates the word "professional" from the term "registered professional nurse" that describes a class of persons authorized to take blood samples.
