SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Commonwealth Vehicle Board. Establishes an 11-member Board to advise the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the DMV Commissioner on its programs and operations. The Board is given the power of general control and oversight over the Department's operations, and the Board's approval is required for any expenditure in excess of $200,000 or any major changes in departmental policies or procedures that impact customer service and departmental efficiency.
