SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Special license plates; members of the American Legion. Reauthorizes issuance of special license plates for members of the American Legion by repealing authorization in § 46.2-746.4 and granting new authorization in § 46.2-746.4:01. These plates were authorized by the 1995 Session of the General Assembly, but fewer than 100 sets of these plates are still in use. This reauthorization will enable the Department of Motor Vehicles to accept new applications for these plates.
