SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Odometer reading disclosures. Exempts owners or transferors of motor vehicles having gross vehicle weight ratings of more than 16,000 pounds from odometer reading disclosure requirements.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Odometer readings. Exempts from odometer reading disclosure requirements (i) vehicles having gross vehicle weight ratings of more than 16,000 pounds; (ii) vehicles that are not self-propelled; and (iii) vehicles that were manufactured for a model year at least 10 years earlier than the calendar year in which the sale or transfer occurs.
